Being from the East Coast I grew up with an intense love for fresh water. This is probably due to the fact that in Upstate NY, water finds you, but out west you need to find the water. Friends are important to a teenager. As a father a young teenager who now resides on the east coast during the school year, I struggle with being able to connect her with middle school aged teenagers while on her breaks here in Colorado. Her siblings are in school when she is here and because school is usually in session, she isn’t able to make girl friends while in Colorado.
